It had to happen sometime. It was my day to write a blog, and I just plain forgot. I got home from work, rassled up some supper, watched an episode of Sherlock, read my book, and went to bed.
Fortunately, I have control of the blog publish date, so I can just tweak it a little, and no one will be the wiser.
Problem solved.

YOU LITTLE SNEAK!!! On the notification email I can still see what time AND day you posted it! BWAHAHAHA!
I don’t know what you mean. The date of the blog is clearly on the 19th. I can’t be responsible for delays in your email delivery!
Its ok dad, we still love you!
Phew. What a relief that I didn’t destroy your love by missing a day on the sacred blog!
All throughout the western hemisphere strange occurrences and weird events bore witness to the ripples that were shooting to and fro as the pillars of the fabric of reality stretched and bent to accommodate this upheaval of the cosmos. An elderly man in Ireland woke up and found himself thirty years younger and the owner of thirteen sheepdogs. One family in Chicago opened their door in the morning to find their house buried in what seemed like cash but upon closer inspection turned out to be made of jello. Seven sparsely populated counties throughout eastern Montana had their borders inexplicably rearranged. And countless other odd incidents were the result of this hiccup in the space-time continuum.
Nice going, Dad.
Dude, you need to write a book. The blog delay definitely rocked my world. I just can’t describe it quite as well as you.
Where’s the “Like” button on this blogface page thing?
I love the back dating feature! LOL Sherlock that sounds like a fun series to start next.
